Boat Dives in Aqaba

Do you really need a boat to see the best dive spots? Here in Aqaba all dive sites, doesn’t matter if we talking about reef dives or wreck dives, are in close proximity to the shoreline. Divers, who are used to hours of boat rides to explore unique places, are surprised when reaching huge wrecks and endless coral reefs in few minutes after walking in.

There is a common myth within divers, that you can see more and advanced places when you chose the more expensive boat dives. But what is the advantage for boat diving in Aqaba?

There are certain dive places, which are not reachable by the shore, either through commercial development, military closures or inconvenient access with a bit of rock climbing. With our boats you can explore also these places.

Boat Dive Sites

One of Aqaba’s hot spots for wreck enthusiasts is for sure the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar plane wreck. An artificial created wreck with dive-through options in a moderate depth, located in front of the old port in Aqaba. For magnificent wall dives we recommend the Powerstation, an amazing drop-off with the chance to see some pelagic visitors emerging from the depths of few hundred meters to feed along the coral encrusted wall. When you enjoy magical dives in shallow depths, the Old Port is your favorite! Diving under the pier makes you feel like in a cathedral, with pillars full of coral growth, built by nature and illuminated by the sparkling sunlight. Our custom-built dive vessel powered by twin 115 HP Tomatsu Outboards is fitted for small diving groups and you reach in few minutes the dive spot. Additional features like a toilet, sun and windshields giving the extra comfort after your dive.

Petra 188

Petra 188 is the ideal choice for diving groups from 6-20 divers. With a length of 16 meters and a steel hull she provides a staple platform for a day of diving activities. The salon and shaded sundeck inviting for some leisure time between the dives.

Trident
